I’m honored to officially announce my candidacy for Cass County Sheriff in the 2026 Republican Primary.
With nearly 40 years in public service, starting as a deputy marshal in 1989 and serving for almost three decades with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, I’ve dedicated my life to protecting this community.
Throughout my career, I’ve served in several roles, including:
- Patrol Deputy Sheriff
- Emergency Response Team Leader
- Training Coordinator
- Firearms Instructor
- Jail Commander
- Lead Detective
- Sergeant
- Lieutenant
In 2011, I opened Campbell’s Firearms in Royal Center, built on my belief in responsible gun ownership and the importance of protecting our Second Amendment rights.
Now, I’m ready to serve Cass County as your next Sheriff. My mission is simple: to make Cass County a place where families feel safe, businesses can grow, and our values are preserved.
If elected, I will lead with integrity, discipline, and fairness. I’ll uphold the rule of law, protect our communities, and defend the constitutional rights of every citizen.
I’d be honored to earn your support and your vote.

As an Air Force dad, I carry a deep personal pride in our men and women who serve. As with so many military families, we know what service, sacrifice, and commitment truly mean.
In Cass County, we owe our veterans more than just a thank you on holidays. We owe them real support, respect, and a community that stands with them when they come home. Veteran appreciation isn’t just about words; it’s about action. One of the most important steps we can take is adding a Veterans Court to our local court system. A Veterans Court focuses on accountability, treatment, and rehabilitation—connecting veterans who are struggling with the resources they’ve earned, while still holding them responsible and helping them get back on track. It’s a proven way to reduce repeat offenses, strengthen families, and honor the service of those who once raised their right hand for all of us.
As your Sheriff, I will always stand up for our veterans and work to make sure Cass County is a place that respects their service and supports their future. We can do better—and together, we will.
